Apple က macOS 26 Tahoe ကို update ပေးလိုက်ပါပြီ။ ဒီ version မှာ Liquid Glass လို့ခေါ်တဲ့ design အသစ်နဲ့အတူ အပြောင်းအလဲတွေ အများကြီး ပါဝင်လာပါတယ်။ ၂၀၂၀ ခုနှစ် macOS 11 Big Sur ကတည်းက အကြီးမားဆုံး design အပြောင်းအလဲ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

Tahoe က Intel Mac တွေအတွက် နောက်ဆုံး macOS version ဖြစ်ပြီး support ရမယ့် Intel Mac တွေက အရမ်းနည်းပါးသွားပါပြီ။ ၂၀၁၉ ခုနှစ် 16-inch MacBook Pro၊ ၂၀၂၀ ခုနှစ် 13-inch MacBook Pro (Thunderbolt port ၄ ခုပါတဲ့ model)၊ ၂၀၂၀ iMac နဲ့ ၂၀၁၉ Mac Pro တို့သာ support ရတော့မှာပါ။ Apple Silicon Mac အားလုံးကတော့ M1 ကနေ M4 အထိ support ရမှာပါ။

Liquid Glass ဆိုတာ Apple ရဲ့ ecosystem တစ်ခုလုံးအတွက် design အသစ်ဖြစ်ပြီး translucent glass sheets တွေလို မြင်ရတဲ့ interface ပါ။ Window တွေ၊ menu တွေ၊ notification တွေ အားလုံးမှာ frosted glass effect ပါဝင်လာပြီး animation တွေလည်း liquid လို motion ရှိလာပါတယ်။ ဒါပေမယ့် တခါတလေ translucency ကြောင့် text readability ပြဿနာတွေတော့ ရှိနိုင်ပါတယ်။

Menu bar က fully transparent ဖြစ်သွားပြီး wallpaper နဲ့ blend ဖြစ်သွားပါတယ်။ Control Center က ပိုမို customizable ဖြစ်လာပြီး menu bar မှာ Control Center item တွေကို တိုက်ရိုက် ထည့်နိုင်လာပါတယ်။ Appearance settings တွေမှာ Light/Dark mode၊ icon styles (light, dark, transparent, tinted)၊ folder colors၊ highlight colors စတာတွေကို သီးခြား customize လုပ်နိုင်လာပါတယ်။

App icon တွေအားလုံး rounded square shape ဖြစ်ရမယ်လို့ enforce လုပ်လာပါပြီ။ ဒီ shape မဟုတ်တဲ့ icon တွေကို "icon jail" လို့ခေါ်တဲ့ gray square ထဲမှာ ထည့်ပေးမှာပါ။ Apple က Icon Composer app အသစ်နဲ့ .icon format အသစ်ကို မိတ်ဆက်ပေးထားပြီး developer တွေအတွက် icon creation process ကို ပိုလွယ်ကူစေပါတယ်။

Spotlight search က အရမ်းကို powerful ဖြစ်လာပါပြီ။ Applications, Files, Actions နဲ့ Clipboard history view တွေ ပါဝင်လာပါတယ်။ Quick Keys feature နဲ့ custom shortcuts တွေကို Spotlight ကနေ တိုက်ရိုက် run နိုင်လာပါတယ်။ Clipboard history feature အသစ်က copy လုပ်ထားတဲ့ text, images, files တွေကို ၈ နာရီအထိ သိမ်းထားပေးပါတယ်။

Shortcuts app မှာ Automations feature အသစ်ပါလာပြီး အချိန်၊ email ရောက်လာတဲ့အခါ၊ Wi-Fi connect/disconnect ဖြစ်တဲ့အခါ၊ external drive တပ်တဲ့အခါ စတဲ့ trigger တွေနဲ့ shortcuts တွေကို အလိုအလျောက် run နိုင်လာပါတယ်။

Safari 26 မှာ WebGPU support၊ HDR image support၊ SVG favicon support နဲ့ text-wrap: pretty CSS property support တွေ ပါဝင်လာပါတယ်။ Phone app အသစ်က Mac ကနေ phone calls တွေကို ပိုမိုလွယ်ကူစွာ dial လုပ်နိုင်စေပါတယ်။ Games app အသစ်က Game Center ကို အစားထိုးပြီး Steam games တွေပါ library မှာ ပြပေးနိုင်ပါတယ်။

Messages app မှာ conversation backgrounds ထည့်နိုင်လာပြီး Details panel က redesign လုပ်ထားပါတယ်။ Notes app က Markdown files တွေကို import/export လုပ်နိုင်လာပါတယ်။ Terminal app မှာ Clear Light/Dark themes အသစ်တွေနဲ့ default window size ကြီးလာပါတယ်။

Metal 4 graphics API အသစ်မှာ frame generation နဲ့ improved upscaling features တွေပါဝင်ပြီး gaming performance တိုးတက်စေပါတယ်။ Game Porting Toolkit 3.0 က Windows games တွေကို Mac မှာ run တဲ့အခါ DLSS upscaling ကို MetalFX အဖြစ် translate လုပ်ပေးနိုင်လာပါတယ်။

macOS 26 Tahoe ဟာ visual redesign အကြီးကြီးနဲ့အတူ productivity features အသစ်တွေ အများကြီး ပါဝင်လာတဲ့ release ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ Intel Mac support နောက်ဆုံး version ဖြစ်တာကြောင့် လာမယ့်နှစ်က macOS 27 မှာ Apple Silicon-only features တွေ ပိုများလာနိုင်ပါတယ်။
